Reedy McCall was born October 21, 1942, to Thomas McCall and Rosie Thomas, in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away on February 16, 2024, at the Comfort House in Pella, Iowa.

On August 16, 1967, Reedy was united in marriage to Marie Trimm, in Liverpool, England. They were blessed with four children: Redene, Sharnell, Petisa, and Andre.

Reedy enlisted in the United States Air Force on March 15, 1962, earned the rank of TSGT, and was honorably discharged on May 31, 1984, in Lakeland, Texas. Reedy said if he had to do Airforce again, he would do it in a second!

Some of Reedy's favorite teams were the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Reedy was preceded in death by his wife of 56 ½ years, Marie McCall, his parents Thomas McCall and Rosie Thomas, and two children: Andre' and Redene.
