Robert Van
De Krol
October 9, 1933 – December 5, 2023
Robert Keith Van De Krol was born October 9, 1933, to Harry and Harriet (Vander Kamp) Van De Krol, near Lynnville, Iowa. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very young age.
Robert lived on a farm south of Lynnville most of his life and area farms near Lynnville. On April 1, 1955, he was united in marriage to Wanda Wanders. They met when Wanda was serving coffeetime during threshing. To this union, they were blessed with five children.
Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army, attained the rank of medic, and was honorably discharged. He farmed until the mid-70's, then he was driving truck and held various jobs in the area. Robert enjoyed horses, livestock, chopping and splitting wood, and working outdoors. He also enjoyed listening to gospel music, coffeetime with the guys at McDonalds and Hy-Vee in Pella, and Lynnville, reading, history of the area, and "Dutch Bingo." Robert enjoyed being in happy fellowship with the Saints Gathered Unto the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in Pella.
