Sharon Deanna Rook-Wisse was born April 23, 1965, to Roy and Shirley  (Cutberth) Meeks, in the Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia. She attended first grade in Florida, second and third grade in Mississippi, and was a 1983 graduate of Lynnville-Sully High School.

On December 28, 1984, she married Larry Rook. To this union they were blessed with a son, Nacy. On August 1, 2013, she was united in marriage to Bill Wisse. Sharon worked for the Christian Opportunity Center as a payroll specialist, for more than 37 years. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, and her dedication and commitment to her job and co-workers even during her illness! Sharon enjoyed camping and spending time with friends by the river. She loved going to Florida, where she would force Bill to join her for sunrises, sea-shelling and sunsets. Most of all Sharon loved her children and grandchildren!

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Bill, son Nacy (Megan) Rook of Pella, and their children: Kenzlie, Kyler, and Kase, and son Mason Wisse of Leighton. She is also survived by her sister Carol (Jonathan) Steele of Texas.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Shirley Meeks.
