Sheila Suzanne Berg was born September 15, 1946, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Albert and Laurabelle Larson Vinje. She passed away at the Comfort House of Pella on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the age of sixty-seven.

Sheila grew up in Middleton, Wisconsin, where she received her early education. She later attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 1968. She was employed as a registered nurse at the Platteville Community Hospital in Platteville, Wisconsin for fifteen years. She was also co-owner of the Berg Pharmacy in Platteville for nearly twenty years.

Sheila enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, and people watching. Her favorite place was her flower garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Those who are left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Kristin and her husband Todd Bernhagen and Karla Berg all of Pella, Iowa; three grandsons: Nickolas, David, and Eric Bernhagen; and two sisters: Patricia (Michael) Hickey of Santa Rosa, California, and Louanne (Richard) Pauley of Sparks, Nevada.
