Sherman Wayne Kiefaber was born January 9, 1957, to Robert and Delores (Taylor) Kiefaber, in Hannibal, Missouri. Sherman passed away at the Comfort House on September 21, 2024, in Pella, Iowa.

Sherman attended public school in Palmyra, Missouri, and graduated from high school in 1975. He worked as a mechanic for 48 years, and finished his career at Murphy Tractor and Equipment Co.

On October 16, 1976, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Baggett in Palmyra, Missouri. To this union they were blessed with two daughters: Lana and Lindsey.

Sherman is survived by his wife Mary and their family:

Lindsey (Joe) Justesen, Clarinda, Iowa

Jacob, Daniel

He is also survived by his siblings: Susan (Earl) Gard, Palmyra, Missouri, Steve (Pam) Kiefaber, Palmyra, Missouri, Sharon (Alan) Schwanke, Leonard, Missouri, and Shawn (Brandi) Kiefaber, Palmyra, Missouri.

Sherman was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Delores Kiefaber, parents-in-law Kenneth and Gloria Baggett, and brothers-in-law: Kenny Baggett, Mark Baggett, and Fred Manning.

Sherman is now with God, not because of anything he did, but because he was a sinner saved by grace.
