Steven Cogley, son of Larry and Shirley (Klyn) Cogley, was born on February 22, 1958 at Cooke AFB, California. He passed away at the Pella Regional Health Center on the evening of Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the age of forty-nine years.

Steven attended the Pella schools, graduating from Pella Commnity High School with the class of 1976.

On May 15, 1982 Steven was united in marriage with Connie J. Amber in Pella, Iowa. To this union two sons were born: John and Andrew.

Steven was baptized at a young age at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pella. He attended Sunday services at First Baptist Church and Federated Fellowship Church.

For twenty years, Steven worked with his father at CSC Communications. At present he was employed with Pella Building Systems.

Steven loved his family and his dog, Elmo. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and boating.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his wife, Connie of Pella; two sons: John E. Cogley and his wife, Heather, of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Andrew J. Cogley and his fiancAC. Amanda Van Ee of Pella; two granddaughters: Kaylie Cogley of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and McKenzie Adolphson of Jacksonville, Florida; his parents: Larry and Shirley Cogley of Pella; one brother: David Cogley of Pella; one sister: Terry Morales of San Antonio, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his brother, Scott Cogley on February 9, 2003; and his grandparents: Harold and Ruby Klyn and Dennis and Marjorie Cogley.

Steven will be missed by his loved ones and friends.
