Terry Gene Blom was born February 26, 1953, to G. James and Elizabeth (Kole) Blom in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He passed away on April 26, 2016, with his family by his side.

Terry was a 1971 graduate of Pella Christian High School, and was a member of the Air National Guard from 1971 to 1974. He was united in marriage on July 31, 1975, to Lucinda "Cindy" Vander Linden in the First Reformed Church in Pella. To this union, they were blessed with two children: Travis and Amy. Terry was a faithful member of First Christian Reformed Church in Pella, where he was baptized and made confession of faith. He farmed near Pella, and worked for Precision Pulley, Inc. until 2010. Later, Terry started a catering service called T-Bolt's Kitchen which he ran until 2009, when he was forced to stop for health reasons. Terry loved the outdoors and went on many Canadian fishing trips; he also enjoyed prairie dog hunting. His family will remember his practical jokes, pranks, and boisterous laughter. Most of all, Terry loved spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them about life. He will be remembered by all as a tender-hearted family man.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Elizabeth Blom of Pella, wife Cindy of Pella, children Travis Blom of Pella, and Amy and Jason Neer of Newton, four grandchildren: Cameron Neer, Michael Blom, Christine Neer and Samantha Neer. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Maxine Verros of Pella, brother Loren and Linda Blom of Pella, sisters Judy and Ron Groenendyk of Oskaloosa, and Marla Van Kooten of Denver, Colorado; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Leon Vander Linden of Pella, Deletha Keller of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Carl and Kelly Schuring of Otley, Mike and Deb Schuring of Pella, and Ron and Linda Schuring of Pella.

Terry was preceded in death by his father G. James Blom.

Terry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
