Wanda Lou Van De Krol was born July 28, 1933, to Louis and Julia (Brand) Wanders, in New Sharon, Iowa.

On April 1, 1955, she was united in marriage to Robert Van De Krol. They met when Wanda was serving coffeetime during threshing.  To this union, they were blessed with five children. She enjoyed helping others by cleaning and helping out with their children. Some of her favorite hobbies were canning, gardening, and knitting. Wanda especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in her early 20's and enjoyed worshiping in happy fellowship with the Saints Gathered Unto the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in Pella.
