Joyce Elaine De Armond was born December 11, 1944, to Simon A. and Jeanette (Verschuure) Van Dusseldorp, in Monroe, Iowa. She passed away on September 9, 2020, at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House.
Joyce was a 1963 graduate of Pella Christian High School, and attended Calvin College. She worked most of her life for IBM in Michigan and Florida. She loved to read, do crossword and jigsaw puzzles, listen to classical music, and sit with her cats (JJ and Mickey). She sang in the concert choir of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, for many years. Her last 20 years were consumed with health issues related to cancer.
