Sharon Van Den Berg
Obituary
Sharon Beth Van Den Berg was the first child of Harry C. and Sarah Ann (Ver Heul) Van Den Berg, born August 24, 1946. She passed away on July 22, 2022, in Pella.
Sharon attended Otley Independent School through eighth grade, and was a 1964 graduate of Pella Community High School. Sharon worked for Van Walbeek’s DeLaval Milking Systems. She went on to Pella Corporation as a sergeant security guard for 20 years. After this she worked at the Royal Amsterdam Hotel, Sharon also sold Avon in the area for many years. She was a 4-H leader for Summit Strivers 4-H Club. She taught Bible school at the Otley Reformed Church. Sharon was the township clerk since 1985. She liked baking, cooking, and doing needlework.
Sharon was a cancer survivor for over 30 years.
Sharon is survived by her brother Stanley Van Den Berg of Otley.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Sarah Van Den Berg, and her brother Douglas Van Den Berg in 2020.
